Scrap it With a Song - Nothing Compares 2 U
We are celebrating great Irish artists this month at Scrap it With a Song - - and up on the playlist this week is Sinaed O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U". I have vivid memories of a friend and I playing this song OVER and OVER one particular summer vacation and I still love it decades later!!
For my layout today - - I chose the first line of the lyrics "It's been 7 hours and 15 days . . .". It made me think about whether there has ever been a time when I felt time so immensely as that - - and I immediately thought of Hawaii. Both times we have been there I have simply dreaded the day we had to leave!
A mish-mash of product from my stash on this layout - CTMH paper, K&Company Die Cuts, AC Thickers, AC chipboard, unknown sticker :-) Sketch is "Sketch Along Tuesdays #36" from Frosted Designs.
The rest of the DT provided some amazing inspiration with the song this week - be sure to check them out!
Hope you'll join us at Scrap it With a Song this month - we are giving away a Guest DT spot - we'd love to have you!! Link up your entries to any of the March playlist songs for your chance to win!

A Hodge Podge of Supplies!
Whenever a new catalogue comes out I'm reminded of my ever-growing stash, which usually inspires me to use up some of what I already have (at least until the boxes of new product start arriving, LOL!!)
This layout was a result of that guilt ridden inspiration! A complete hodge podge of different kits and collections! I was completely inspired by the design and artwork example in the Magic Scrapbook Program book for the "Enchantment" pattern! This layout would be easy to recreate even if you didn't have the same papers/embellies that I used - simply use papers you have in these colours - - it is the colour combo in this layout that make it work!
Materials Used (all CTMH):
Green (Sweet Leaf) patterned paper is from Boom-di-Ada Level 2 Kit (retired)
Blue (Twilight) patterned paper is from Tinkerin Level 2 Kit (retired)
Pink (Hollyhock) patterned paper is from Bella Level 2 Kit (retired)
Alpha stickers are from the Bella Level 1 Kit (retired)
Flower sticker is from the Sophia Level 1 Kit (retired)
Typewriter Alpha stamp set
Hollyhock brads
Felt Die cut from Heartfelt Wonder collection (retired)
Cardstock: Cocoa, Colonial White
All papers edged with cocoa ink

CTMH Boom-di-Ada - Jolly Jumper
Here is a layout for this week's challenge over at Practical Scrappers, which is to use something you've had for over a year. This Boom-di-Ada paper is well over a year old - so it definitely qualifies!
I was inspired by this week's sketch over at The Scrappiest . . . although I ended up deviating from it quite a bit!!
