CTMH Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - November

Welcome to the CTMH Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for November.   This month we are featuring the stamp set "Capture the Date".

Hope you'll join us by hopping along with me & a group of very creative CTMH consultants who have created a multitude of projects using this great stamp set.    If you've come here from Pamela's Blog, you are on the right path.   If this is your first stop on the hop, that will work too! Just keep hopping until you get back here again!

To continue along the hop, just follow the link at the end of each post to move on to the next site.  We hope that the creations you find along the way will inspire you & will give you many many ideas of all the things you can create with this month's stamp set, as well as all the other CTMH products you'll see in each post.

My creation for you today is a 2 page scrapbook layout.   This month's stamp set is a great collection of calendar/date images.   I used several of the stamped images to help me complete this "Year in Review" scrapbook page for 2011 (click to view larger).

For my pages, I created a collage of photos - one photo for each month of the year.  I trimmed the photos to 3x3 and then created a collage of 3 photos high by 4 photos wide.    I used the stamp set to stamp numbers 1 through 12 on some cardstock circles which I adhered to each photo (i.e. 1 for January, 2 for February, etc.)  I then stamped larger numbers on another set of cardstock circles which I adhered to the left edge of the page, followed by a stamped image of the name of that month.   Then my journalling for each month listed some of the big highlights for my family that month, including of course, the one pictured in that month's photo in the collage.

To embellish my layout, I added some strips of paper from the Scholastic paper pack.   The numbers in "2011" came from my stash of CTMH chipboard - the 2 is from a retired pack of chipboard numbers.  The 0 is actually an "O" from our "O" monograms chipboard set, and the 1's are actually the letter "L" from our "L" monograms chipboard set.   I sponged all of the chipboard numbers with creme brulee and ruby ink.   The rest of the title "the year in review" was cut with the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge, as were all of my cardstock circles used on the layout.

The November stamp of the month is available from your CTMH consultant (or from me!) from November 1st to 30th.  It can be purchased for $17.95, or get it for just $5 when you place a qualifying order of $50 or more during the month of November.

If you would like to continue on the hop for more inspiration using the "Capture the Date" stamp set, continue on to Mary's Blog to see what she has created.
