CTMH Notebook - A Teacher's Journal

Summer is here!  Just returned from a great weekend camping with the family!  We had so much fun!  I'm home for just one day and then I leave for Washington DC to attend CTMH's annual Convention!! Can't wait!!  (My husband isn't quite as excited as he is 'home alone' with the kids for a week, LOL!!)

Watch in the coming days for news & updates & new artwork from Convention . . . I know I'm going to have lots to share!!

I'm busy packing - so no time in the craft room tonight.  But I do have a few things I've been working on in the last few weeks that I haven't had a chance to post yet.  The following is a gift I made recently for my daughter's Grade 1 teacher.  We absolutely ADORE this teacher and think we were sooo lucky to have her!  My daughter had a great year!  I decorated this journal for her as I wanted to give her something with a 'personal' touch to it!  Hope she likes it!
(Note: This project was inspired by a similar journal made by CTMH consultant Heather Gerard)

Materials Used (all Close to My Heart, except as noted):
Hollyhock Button from Autumn Garden Craft Buttons
Ink: Black, Hollyhock
Other: Alphabet Stickers from American Crafts
