CTMH December Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for December! We have dozens of talented consultants participating this month - - which means tons of fabulous artwork ideas to inspire you! This month we are showcasing the daytimer inspired "Notice the Details" stamp set - a set of 41 images! Enjoy!

This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

My project this month is a fun little gift item (think hostess gift, teacher gift, coworker gift or stocking stuffer). You can click on the photo to view a larger image.

This fun desk accessory is a decorated acrylic picture frame. My project uses a 5x7 frame, but they come in various sizes. I'm sure you have a few of these hanging around the house that can be re-purposed, or else take a look at your local dollar store. Simply decorate a sheet of paper to fit your frame & insert it where the picture would go. Then peel the back protective sheet from a pad of sticky notes and stick them to the top of the acrylic frame. You can further decorate the top of the frame with additional embellishments, if you wish. In my case I added ribbon around the top and used glue dots to secure the ribbon to the frame. Sit the frame upside down on your desk and your post-it notes sit at a handy angle and within easy reach on top of your desk.
