CTMH That's Amore Altered Notebook

There are so many times that I would like to give somebody just a small token of thanks, but can't seem to think of anything appropriate. And I am all about being practical - so I prefer to give gifts that will have some use or purpose. Well, thanks to the many talented Close to My Heart consultants that share their artwork, I've been inspired & I recently decided to give the 'altered notebook' a try. I think this is such a great gift-giving idea! Who doesn't need another notebook? (Well, maybe not everyone, but certainly if you are like me and have lists and notes for EVERYTHING - notebooks are always useful! And lots of people keep journals and these books would be great for that too!)

So - here is my very first altered notebook (and matching pen)! I'm pretty happy with the outcome & look forward to making more of these!

The notebook was a composition book I picked up at the dollar store.

Materials used (all CTMH):

• Inks: Chocolate (for distressing the edges of all the paper)
• Just Blooms Big Pinks paper flowers
• Dimensional Elements (chipboard) Monograms "J" Collections
• Fancy Cuts Botanicals
• Bigger Chocolate Brad from the Mini Medley Accents Shades of Chocolate Collection
• Chocolate Ribbon from the Designer Ribbon Rounds Chocolate Collection
• The inside long edge of the striped paper was trimmed using my scalloped scissors.
