CTMH Aspen & a Christmas Card Challenge!

I was visiting Alanna's Blog a few days ago and noticed a great weekly Christmas Card challenge she has been participating in. The challenge is at Sparkle Creations. Every week Sparkle posts a new challenge - some are sketches, some are colours, some are use a certain item, etc., with the idea being that if you do just one Christmas card a week - you won't have that big panic to make cards in December, the week before you need to get them mailed!! I LOVE IT! I'm all about planning ahead & being prepared!!

So - I'm jumping in a little late in the game - but here is my card for Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge #29 (this week's challenge was a sketch):

  3. I'm glad you could participate in the challenge. It's been a life saver for me as I haven't sent out handmade Christmas cards for the past several years. Who has the time to make all of them during the last month of the year when things are already crazy?

Anyway, your card is so cute. I've used that little snowman for quite a few of my Christmas cards this year. He looks great with that Aspen paper.

  5. Hi Carla,
I am a fellow Canadian and a CTMH consultant! Glad you found Sparkle's blog and challenge. Her's is one of the first I started following. A good friend introduced my to Splitcoast and "blurfing" back in January prior to a planned surgery - oh how much fun I had. I am so happy for Sparkle's challenge, I have never had this many Christmas cards done so early in the year, it feels so good! Your card turned out nice, those aspen papers are great!
